Genesis 1:14-19

14 
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים יְהִ֤י מְאֹרֹת֙ בִּרְקִ֣יעַ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם לְהַבְדִּ֕יל בֵּ֥ין הַיּ֖וֹם וּבֵ֣ין הַלָּ֑יְלָה וְהָי֤וּ לְאֹתֹת֙ וּלְמ֣וֹעֲדִ֔ים וּלְיָמִ֖ים וְשָׁנִֽים׃
"And Elohim said, 'let there be bodies of light in the heaven's firmament, to separate the day from the night. Let them be for signs, for days, for seasons, and for years."

מְאֹרֹת֙ (n. masculine plural - מָאוֹר) = lights, luminaries, bodies of light
- לְאֹתֹת֙(n. feminine plural - אוֹת) = signs
- וּלְמ֣וֹעֲדִ֔ים (n. masculine plural - מוֹעֵד)  = seasons, appointed time
- וְשָׁנִֽים׃ (n. feminine plural -שָׁנֶה ) = years
15 
וְהָי֤וּ לִמְאוֹרֹת֙ בִּרְקִ֣יעַ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם לְהָאִ֖יר עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וַֽיְהִי־כֵֽן׃
"Let them shine in the heaven's firmament and give light to the earth. And it was so."

- וְהָי֤וּ (v. Qal conjunctive perfect, 3rd person common plural - הָיָה) = let them be

16 
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶת־שְׁנֵ֥י הַמְּאֹרֹ֖ת הַגְּדֹלִ֑ים אֶת־הַמָּא֤וֹר הַגָּדֹל֙ לְמֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶת הַיּ֔וֹם וְאֶת־הַמָּא֤וֹר הַקָּטֹן֙ לְמֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶת הַלַּ֔יְלָה וְאֵ֖ת הַכּוֹכָבִֽים׃
"And Elohim made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, and he made the stars."

- וַיַּ֣עַשׂ (v. qal consecutive imperfect, 3rd person masculine singular -עָשָׂה) = to do, to make
שְׁנֵ֥י (cardinal number - שְׁנַיִם) = two
לְמֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶת (n. feminine singular construct - מֶמְשָׁלָה) = to rule
הַכּוֹכָבִֽים׃ (n. masculine plural - כּוֹכָב) = the stars


17 
וַיִּתֵּ֥ן אֹתָ֛ם אֱלֹהִ֖ים בִּרְקִ֣יעַ הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם לְהָאִ֖יר עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃
"Elohim set them in the heaven's firmament to give light to the Earth."

וַיִּתֵּ֥ן (v. Qal consecutive imperfect, 3rd person masculine singular - נָתַן) = to give, put set. 
- אֹתָ֛ם (direct object marker, 3rd person masculine singular -אֹתָ֛ם) = them
- בִּרְקִ֣יעַ (n. masculine singular const - רָקִיעַ) = an expanse, firmament
- לְהָאִ֖יר (v. hiphil infinitve construct -אוֹר) = to give light, to shine

18 
וְלִמְשֹׁל֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם וּבַלַּ֔יְלָה וּֽלֲהַבְדִּ֔יל בֵּ֥ין הָא֖וֹר וּבֵ֣ין הַחֹ֑שֶׁךְ וַיַּ֥רְא אֱלֹהִ֖ים כִּי־טֽוֹב׃
"And to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light and the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good."

וְלִמְשֹׁל֙ (v. Qal, infinitive construct - מָשַׁל) = to rule, to have dominion, to reign

19 
וַֽיְהִי־עֶ֥רֶב וַֽיְהִי־בֹ֖קֶר י֥וֹם רְבִיעִֽי׃ פ
"And there was an evening and a morning. Day four."

- רְבִיעִי (Number, Ordinal, Masculine, Singular - רְבִיעִי) = Fourth
