Genesis Chapter 1:28-29

28 וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ אֹתָם֮ אֱלֹהִים֒ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר לָהֶ֜ם אֱלֹהִ֗ים פְּר֥וּ וּרְב֛וּ וּמִלְא֥וּ אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ וְכִבְשֻׁ֑הָ וּרְד֞וּ בִּדְגַ֤ת הַיָּם֙ וּבְע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וּבְכָל־חַיָּ֖ה הָֽרֹמֶ֥שֶׂת עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

1:28  Then HE blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful, and multiply; fill the earth, and subdue it. And rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over every creeping thing that moves upon the ground.

- וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ (v. Piel consecutive imperfect, 3rd person masculine singular - בָרַךְ ) = he blessed

- פְּר֥וּ (v. Qal imperative masculine plural  - פָרָה ) = you (pl) be fruitful

- וּרְב֛וּ  (v. Qal imperative masculine plural  - פָרָה ) = you (pl) multiply

- וּמִלְא֥וּ (v. Qal imperative masculine plural  - מָלֵא) = you (pl) fill

- וְכִבְשֻׁ֑הָ ( v. Qal imperative masculine plural, 3rd person feminine singular - כָּבַשׁ) = you (pl) subdue, bring into bondage

- וּרְד֞וּ ( v. Qal imperative masculine plural - רָדָה) = you (pl) have dominion

29 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים הִנֵּה֩ נָתַ֨תִּי לָכֶ֜ם אֶת־כָּל־עֵ֣שֶׂב׀ זֹרֵ֣עַ זֶ֗רַע אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י כָל־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְאֶת־כָּל־הָעֵ֛ץ אֲשֶׁר־בּ֥וֹ פְרִי־עֵ֖ץ זֹרֵ֣עַ זָ֑רַע לָכֶ֥ם יִֽהְיֶ֖ה לְאָכְלָֽה׃

1:29 And Elohim said, "Behold, I have given you every herb that bears seed, which is on the face of the earth, and every tree yielding fruit which bares it's seed.
This will be your food.

- נָתַ֨תִּי (v. Qal imperfect, 1st person common singular  - נָתַן) = I have given

Genesis 1:26-27

26 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֔ים נַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה אָדָ֛ם בְּצַלְמֵ֖נוּ כִּדְמוּתֵ֑נוּ וְיִרְדּוּ֩ בִדְגַ֨ת הַיָּ֜ם וּבְע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם וּבַבְּהֵמָה֙ וּבְכָל־הָאָ֔רֶץ וּבְכָל־הָרֶ֖מֶשׂ הָֽרֹמֵ֥שׂ עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

"And Elohim said, let us make humanity in our image - according to our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and the birds of the air, and over the livestock, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

-  נַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה (v. Qal imperfect, 1st person common plural  -עָשָׂה ) = Let us make
-  בְּצַלְמֵ֖נוּ (n. masculine singular construct, 1st person common plural -צֶלֶם) = in our image
- כִּדְמוּתֵ֑נוּ (n. feminine singular construct - 1st person common plural - דְּמוּת) = according to our likeness
- וְיִרְדּוּ֩ (v. Qal conjunctive imperfect, 3rd person masculine singular  - רָדָה) = let them rule


27 וַיִּבְרָ֨א אֱלֹהִ֤ים׀ אֶת־הָֽאָדָם֙ בְּצַלְמ֔וֹ בְּצֶ֥לֶם אֱלֹהִ֖ים בָּרָ֣א אֹת֑וֹ זָכָ֥ר וּנְקֵבָ֖ה בָּרָ֥א אֹתָֽם׃ 

"So Elohim created humanity in his image. In the image of God, he created them, male and female."

- אֹת֑וֹ (Direct Object marker, 3rd person masculine singular - אֵת) = him

- זָכָ֥ר (n. masculine singular  - זָכָר) = male

- וּנְקֵבָ֖ה (n. feminine singular - נְקֵבָה) = Female

Genesis 1:24-25

24 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים תּוֹצֵ֨א הָאָ֜רֶץ נֶ֤פֶשׁ חַיָּה֙ לְמִינָ֔הּ בְּהֵמָ֥ה וָרֶ֛מֶשׂ וְחַֽיְתוֹ־אֶ֖רֶץ לְמִינָ֑הּ וַֽיְהִי־כֵֽן׃

"And Elohim said 'let the earth bring forth living creatures, (each) according to its kind:  Livestock, and creeping things, and the beasts of the earth, (each) according to its kind.  And it was so."

-  בְּהֵמָ֥ה ( n. feminine singular  - בְּהֵמָה ) = livestock

-  וָרֶ֛מֶשׂ ( n. masculine singular - רֶמֶשׂ ) = creeping things

-   וְחַֽיְתוֹ־ (n. feminine singular construct, 3rd person masculine singular  - חַי ) =  beast 

25 וַיַּ֣עַשׂ אֱלֹהִים֩ אֶת־חַיַּ֨ת הָאָ֜רֶץ לְמִינָ֗הּ וְאֶת־הַבְּהֵמָה֙ לְמִינָ֔הּ וְאֵ֛ת כָּל־רֶ֥מֶשׂ הָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה לְמִינֵ֑הוּ וַיַּ֥רְא אֱלֹהִ֖ים כִּי־טֽוֹב׃

"And Elohim made the beasts of the earth according to their kind, and the livestock according to its kind everything that creeps according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good."

Genesis 1:20-23

20 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֔ים יִשְׁרְצ֣וּ הַמַּ֔יִם שֶׁ֖רֶץ נֶ֣פֶשׁ חַיָּ֑ה וְעוֹף֙ יְעוֹפֵ֣ף עַל־הָאָ֔רֶץ עַל־פְּנֵ֖י רְקִ֥יעַ הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

"And Elohim said 'let the waters teem with a swarm of living creatures, and let winged creatures fly over the earth - across the  firmament of the heavens."

-   יִשְׁרְצ֣וּ (v. qal imperfect, 3rd person masculine plural  - שָׁרַץ) =  let them swarm
-  שֶׁ֖רֶץ (n. masculine singular construct.  -  שֶׁרֶץ)  =  a swarm



21 וַיִּבְרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶת־הַתַּנִּינִ֖ם הַגְּדֹלִ֑ים וְאֵ֣ת כָּל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ הַֽחַיָּ֣ה׀ הָֽרֹמֶ֡שֶׂת אֲשֶׁר֩ שָׁרְצ֨וּ הַמַּ֜יִם לְמִֽינֵהֶ֗ם וְאֵ֨ת כָּל־ע֤וֹף כָּנָף֙ לְמִינֵ֔הוּ וַיַּ֥רְא אֱלֹהִ֖ים כִּי־טֽוֹב׃

"So Elohim created the great sea creatures, and everything that swarms in the teeming waters, each according to its kind; and every winged creature according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good"

-  וַיִּבְרָ֣א ( qal consecutive imperfect, 3rd person masculine singular -  בָּרָא) = he created

-  הַתַּנִּינִ֖ם (n.. masculine plural - תַּנִּין) = sea creatures

-  נֶ֣פֶשׁ ( n. feminine singular - נֶפֶשׁ ) = a soul, a living being

-  הַֽחַיָּ֣ה ( adj feminine singular  - חַי ) =  living

-  הָֽרֹמֶ֡שֶׂת (v. Qal participle, feminine singular  -  רָמַשׂ ) = to creep, move lightly, move about

- אֲשֶׁר֩  (relative pronount  - ) = who, which, that

-  שָׁרְצ֨וּ ( qal perfect, 3rd person common plural -שָׁרַץ ) =  to teem, swarm

-  לְמִֽינֵהֶ֗ם (n/ masculine plural construct, 3rd person masculine plural - מִין ) =  their kind

-  כָּנָף֙ (n. feminine singular  - כָּנָף ) = winged

-  לְמִינֵ֔הוּ ( n. masculine singular construct, 3rd person masculine singular  - מִין ) = its kind

22 וַיְבָ֧רֶךְ אֹתָ֛ם אֱלֹהִ֖ים לֵאמֹ֑ר פְּר֣וּ וּרְב֗וּ וּמִלְא֤וּ אֶת־הַמַּ֙יִם֙ בַּיַּמִּ֔ים וְהָע֖וֹף יִ֥רֶב בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

"And Elohim blessed them saying, 'be fruitful and multiply. Fill the waters in the seas, and let the winged creatrues multiply on the earth."

-  וַיְבָ֧רֶךְ (v. piel consecutive imperfect, 3rd person masculine singular  - בָרַךְ) = he blessed

- לֵאמֹ֑ר ( v. qal infinitive cons  -.אָמַר ) = saying 

-  פְּר֣וּ ( qal imperative masculine plural  - פָרָה) = be fruitful

"And there was an evening and there was a morning. Day Five.
